New release of 61850 Avenue toolset - easier data copying and improved report handling
We are pleased to announce version 2.1.21 of the 61850 Avenue toolset. This release makes it easier to copy information from the Server Explorer object view, improves handling of IEC 61850 reports, and resolves several usability and startup issues.
61850 Avenue client main improvements include:
- Copy multiple values from the object view: The Server Explorer object view now supports selecting and copying multiple attributes of a control block or multiple members of a Data Set. Multi-line cell contents are preserved when the copied information is pasted into office applications, making it easier to prepare test records and compare device data. When several control block attributes are selected, actions that set a single attribute are unavailable to prevent an ambiguous change.
- Reports accepted without optional ConfRev: Avenue now accepts a report when the report's OptFlds indicates that the configuration revision (ConfRev) is omitted. Previously, a report with a sequence number but without ConfRev could be rejected with a misleading missing ConfRev (wrong type) error. The change improves interoperability with servers that do not include this optional field in their reports.
- Additional fixes:
- Corrected the context menu shown for Data Set members in the object view.
- Making TLS and ACSE certificate file filters consistent.
- Fixed startup issue that could prevent a second Avenue instance from opening while the first instance was validating a HASP license.
- Corrected file date presented in File Transfer Tool.
This release reflects our commitment to the continuous improvement of the 61850 Avenue toolset, addressing users feedback and following the evolving standards. Welcome to learn the details of the new release of the 61850 Avenue toolset.
